Condor Eagle Oneness by Vicki Denning

Beautiful Thoughts For Growth

Just beyond the thinking mind is an unending field of love and quiet beauty. One can lie down there, and live in eternity. This field cannot be seen by the mind, it cannot be known by the mind; it can only be felt and found with the heart. The thinking mind cannot know this kind of beauty and wonder; the thinking mind has no feeling, it has no soul. It can only calculate distance and weight and price. The thinking mind does not love, it does not laugh, it does not cry. The thinking mind only argues and defends; it justifies its soulless existence with violence. That is why we must learn to live within the heart, lying in the fields of beauty, where we can feel the soul and Silence of existence. And now, lying in these fields, we can cry, and laugh, and love. And now we live in this field of eternity, where the thinking mind is just a single flower, barely visible, in the midst of tall grasses under blue skies and hundreds of suns, whirling and spinning within and without.

Full Circle

As I stood on the stone bridge and watched the waterfall cascading full force on to the rocks below, my eyes came to rest on a large deep hole within a boulder beneath the falls. It was a perfect complete circle that may have held a tree trunk at one time, what came to my heart in that moment was how all comes "full circle" as we walk this journey to being all that we are. No matter the distance or how far we seem to step in ascension, to be awake is to return full circle home to the purity of our Heart of Hearts. That place within where there is innocence, surrender, and the willingness to allow the Highest Self to soar. In the beginning, this Light is who we are, yet there is no beginning or end as this Love is who we have always been. In the rebirth of Oneness, it is the birthing of remembrance that we are the LoveLight of the One that we seek outside of ourselves. The journey is the forgetting, the sleep that takes from us who we truly are, so that moment by moment,. we may feel the ecstasy of rediscovering just how magnificent our Beingness is. For without the darkness, the Light can not be seen or experienced in feeling the exquisite beauty and intensity of unconditional Love and joy.
In this moment, the memory of the sand mandala created by the Tibetan monks comes to me; working as one heart, each monk brought their unique artistic style to the creation of an intricate colorful sand painting, which touched the hearts of many as it evolved. Such an example of how each heart, all essence of being brings their ray of Light to this realm. A rainbow of hues, as each hue-man glows with a unique light of the multi colored vibration of the One. The sand mandala was completed, and the Circle of Light was taken to Whatcom Falls Park, the location of a pipeline explosion in 1999. Standing together on a bridge over a still pond, the Tibetan monks released their unified gift of Love into the water. In that moment as the sand mingled with the water's current, it flowed in oneness touching the source of pain, allowing the trees, water, nature beings, hearts of Bellingham to heal with the Light of Source.
Even so is the union of two people as a mandala, so beautifully created with the coming together of two Hearts with a common focus and purpose. In the beginning such a flow of new discovery and birthing of new Love, a crescendo to the heights of physical, emotional, and spiritual oneness. Yet in time, there may be the moment of letting go, of allowing each to move with grace into new adventures alone, or with another. This is the completion of another journey, full circle within the grand mandala of life. Such a perfect example of the Union of the Divine within the Sacred Heart, this beautiful mandala of LoveLight that is being created forever, never to be let go of but rather becoming in each moment, the all that is.
I remember when I first awakened to my I AM Presence in 1997, the awe of that filled me with unconditional Love, this is the Beloved that we seek outside of ourselves, yet it is within, has always been there, waiting to be felt, seen and heard. I see while on this earthly plane that the journey to remember and discover will never cease. We strive to finally make it, to achieve totality here, yet it is a continuous path to enlightenment, each step is the ascension that we tend to put in a moment beyond this one. We are taught of unconditional Love every time that we surrender our expectations and allow what is, to be. Grace is allowing completely whatever is the Highest purpose, when we release our greatest fears, what remains will be our greatest strengths of Heart Essence. There are no detours or mistakes as each moment is a lesson that we knew would be perfect for our soul growth. Whether the path is straight or scenic, it is a journey of many lifetimes, aspects and essences of Self coming together in Oneness, now.
All great masters know of this, that as soon as one feels that they have completed mastery is when they have stepped out of it. Mastery is a step by step walk in the Light of seeing from an open pure Heart, not from ego which says, "I have achieved all knowing, it is done." The discovery of Self is the utmost joy and surrender unconditional to each moment with the clarity of knowing the perfection beyond what may seem to be. It is not one above the other, but a joining of the Heart, open to walk together in Spirit; to teach, to observe, to participate, to learn. That circle of Light that moves through each heart, each essence, each path walked with pure intent, all so vital to complete the full circle. Mastery sees not the pain as mistake or failure but as a lesson, learned with gratitude which allows healing so that the Light may emanate ever brighter. Each moment is a kernel of wisdom, a gift of reflection that will bring such glorious Truth from the open Heart. It is to be, no need to try, no expectation of what will be, but rather to allow with grace. Each of us creates our own map and path back home, the path that one chooses to walk is perfect, just as it is.
Grace is allowing what is the Highest purpose beyond all fear and doubt, to reflection from that center place of the Sacred Heart, the Light of the Beloved, I AM. That place of calmness, serenity and Oneness that creates heaven on earth......that reflects Love unconditional.
The window of the Soul must be open to feel and bask in the radiance of the sun/Source, the all that is. After each dark night there is a glorious sunrise, a reminder that the sun/Source shines eternal ; even when the Light may seem to cease exisitng in this Now, it is there. It will come full circle within a new dawn, a new day, a new moment so that all may feel, see and know ; all-ways, all-One, I AM that I AM.....Victorious Grace*

"Welcome Home"

Amidst the gentle giants I quietly stood,
My soul weakened yet my cry so strong,
The desire welling up from deep within,
If only to be embraced fully, spiritually,
To be touched with heart, eye to eye.

The window of my soul so open and willing,
Softly, the grand trees began to move and sway,
As the gentle breeze of love fills my heart,
It speaks in a soft whisper, "Know Thyself".

Cedar boughs like delicate slender fingers,
Tenderly brush over my shoulders and hair,
"To know thyself will allow all to see clearly."
My soul beckoned me deeper, to that silence.

To listen, to remember, to embrace, to live,
Beyond fear, need, doubt, expectation, desire,
Beyond the emotion, intellect...."Who am I?"
I began to feel my spirit stir and grow,
I feel the essence of all things, yet nothing.

Such stillness, such surrender into peace,
Birthing a flickering Light of hope and wonder,
Can I see? Can I recognize the One that I AM?
That part of me that has been patiently waiting,
My heartbeat drums a ceremonial call for healing.

I AM the strength and grace of the elusive cougar,
I AM the delicate beauty of a monarch butterfly,
I AM the solid foundation of white and black granite,
I AM the soft scent and radiant color of meadow flowers.

I AM the smiles of innocent children at play,
I AM the wisdom of the elders and ancients,
I AM the tears born from sadness and joy,
I AM the ecstasy that births within new love.

I AM the golden song of the morning dove,
I AM the wind whispering in the valley,
I AM the glistening light of a shooting star,
I AM the mist that carries the light of the rainbow.

I AM the cool brightness of the harvest moon,
I AM the warm radiance of the setting sun,
I AM the spirit and breath within all things,
My essence is the drumbeat within all hearts.

A breeze begins to grow and flows around me,
It's gentle caress awakens my body, my soul,
My sight is the vision of all eyes, all essence,
Swaying in unison, the gentle giants whisper,
" Home is where the heart is.....
See it.....Know it......Be it......
Welcome Home! "

FIRST INTERNET SITE DEVOTED TO AFRICAN AMERICAN ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY, VETERANS AND DEFENSE CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES LAUNCHED
CDR (Ret.) Gregory A. Black, founder, blackmilitaryworld.com
Washington, DC (BlackNews.com) - A retired Navy Officer with a passion for African American military history and equal opportunity has launched an interesting and provocative internet site for African American veterans, active duty members, and Department of Defense civilians.

"This project is long overdue," said retired Navy Commander Gregory Black, founder of blackmilitaryworld.com. Black retired as a Navy Diving Officer in 2002 and has since worked to promote African American history and to publicize the significant roles of African Americans in the defense of America. The contributions of African Americans over the course of military history should be recognized and the word should be spread, added Black. "This rich aspect of black history has been downplayed for a variety of reasons, some of which are quite obvious to black military historians."

Blackmilitaryworld.com is also a news and feature site that will help to educate the public about the diversity of roles assumed by African American military and civilian defense employees. The site covers all branches of the military and will prove beneficial to all those seeking to gain knowledge and understanding of military history and current events. The site will also strive to strengthen the linkages between the vast number of organizations serving the African American military community.

The site is dedicated to late Master Diver Carl Brashear, whose life story was told in the popular movie Men of Honor which was released in 2002. "Stories like that of Master Diver Brashear, the Buffalo Soldiers, the Tuskegee Airmen and the 555th Paratrooper Battalion (Triple Nickles), are only the tip of the iceberg," said Black.

According to Black, it is not widely known that there are approximately a half million African Americans currently employed by the United States Department of Defense (the largest employer of African Americans in the United States).

The site can be accessed at www.blackmilitaryworld.com
